Welcome, and thank you for visiting my site.
The short story: I grew up in the eastern sierra of California, lived on California's north coast and in the San Francisco Bay area (all these places have one thing in common, they are some of the most beautiful places on earth!). I've traveled to some extraordinary locations around the planet. I quit my day job (retired, actually).
All this has provided me an amazing opportunity, through photography, to share all of the beautiful places and interesting people I’ve had the great fortune to encounter. I hope my images, at the very least, provide a sense of connection with our planet's extraordinary beauty, foster a desire to protect and conserve our most treasured resources and inspire others to get out and experience this incredible world we live in!
